Being Thankful for Finding the Rain
This is the time of year when we all reflect on the many things that bring us joy and cause us to give thanks.
When we moved back to Florida in 2007, I began setting up my staging business here in Palm Beach County. As part of my research, I began researching various websites. On several, I saw at the bottom of the page a link to something called ActiveRain.
I am nothing if not curious, so I clicked on it and found what would become my own link to learning how to blog, learning about SEO and Google juice, learning about all facets of the Real Estate profession...from agents, other stagers, lenders, home inspectors, virtual assistants, and many others.
Writing has helped me organize my thoughts. At any given time, I have several thoughts and conversations going on in my head. And, some of those can pop out in mid-stream to anyone around willing to listen.
More than anything, forcing myself to make the commitment to post every day was more for my benefit than anyone else’s. I wanted to make sure that my dendrites keep firing and transmitting.
However, SEO, making the phone ring, and Google juice pale in comparison to the wonderful friends-real and virtual- that I’ve made here.
I am so thankful for the ActiveRain Community.
Each member has something to offer, whether it’s their local knowledge of real estate or their own perspective on a topic.
Each member shares their life with us...where they live, tales of their family, and their life experiences.
Each member lends support in their own way when a member needs it.
And so, for my first post for the 12 Days of Thanks Giving 2017 ActiveRain Challenge hosted by Debbie Reynolds I am forever grateful to that day-February 6, 2008, that I became a part of the ActiveRain Community.
