With November just officially proclained by President Trump as Veterans and Military Families Month, it's great news for Charlotte, North Carolina to have been ranked in the top 15 best cities in America for veterans. WalletHub, a financial website, just released their 2017 report on the Best & Worst Places For Veterans To Live, which examined where veterans receive the best services and assistance.
WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 17 key indicators, including livability, affordability, veteran-friendliness, share of military skill-related jobs, veteran income growth, availability of VA health facilities. Being ranked #14 out of 100 cities as a best place for veterans to live is particularly good news for Charlotte, as it should be pointed out we are not a "military" city, per se.
This information about Charlotte ranking as a top city for Veterans is provided by Nina Hollander and Carolinas Realty Partners, RE/MAX Executive, your Charlotte metro area real estate consultants who proudly serve many Veterans every year and want to take this opportunity today to again say "thank you for your service."
