Home Sellers on the market For Sale now, are all asking about how selling a home during the holidays will work. Should they take their Manchester NH area home off the market? Should they keep trying for a buyer? How will it work with showing requests?
Here in NH, there is still a fair amount of buyers searching for new homes over the Holiday period. We are seeing a great deal of relocation buyers looking to move to NH now. Although less buyers, you certainly see buyers who are even more ready, willing and able to buy and close quick.
It is certainly possible to buy a home now, and close before Christmas. Although it will depend n how quick the buyer acts, what type of mortgage and if the seller is ready to close.
Some sellers are asking to find a buyer now, but closer after the Holidays. It is understandable and acceptable. It also takes the stress off some buyers who know they have a home, but do not have to rush through the Holidays and can simply close right after New Years.
Many buyers and even many sellers have told me they did not know this was available. They were not told and many never asked.
The moral of the story is that there is a difference from agent to agent. That a Buyer or Seller should not choose just any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job.
