7 Key Steps to Greatness 

With just a few weeks until we cross into 2018, it's time right now to lay the plan so you will start the year on your path to success. A successful career doesn't happen on its own.  It takes planning and following that plan to reach your goal.  You alone are responsible for your future and how you travel your path.  

1. It's almost impossible to reach a goal without having a clear and concise plan of action. Putting it in writing makes it real and easier to follow. Internalize it, visualize it.
   
   
2. Systems are important and in this day and time, if you don't have and use systems then you are handicapping yourself. You need your database updated and ready to go sooner than later. You have time now to get it in order so you can start the year at a running pace.
   
   
3. Attitude can make or break you. Do you love what you do and do you let others see it and know it? Be honest with yourself. Sometimes a simple adjustment will make you fall in love with it again. Assess where you are.
   
   
4. It's hard to commit long hours and mental energies if your health and physical condition are not in good order. Get control of your bad habits now and start the year on a healthier you.
   
   
5. Those you hang with can make or break you. Surround yourself with positive thinkers and people that inspire you. Their ideas and enthusiasm will likely be contagious and spill over onto you. Likewise, negative thinkers will pull you down.
   
   
6. Aspire for a better you. Nurture your Spiritual Life. Prayer and meditation improve daily living. Clear the cobwebs and believe in something bigger than you. Life is more than making a dollar.
   
   
7. Be determined, committed and resolved. Yes, you will have to work hard, smart and be consistent. Making your plan now can lay the groundwork for a fast start to success in 2018.
