Chandler & Gilbert, AZ Lots & Land Purchased For 2 New Neighborhoods

Maracay Homes has recently closed on 91 premium homesites in Chandler, Arizona for a total purchase price of $9 million dollars. Located at Cooper and Riggs roads, the 37-acre parcel will be developed into a new, all single-family home neighborhood called Windermere Ranch. Scheduled to begin development in late 2017 and open in early 2019, homes are planned to be built on 10,000-square-foot homesites and will range from approximately 2,600 to 3,500 square feet.

Windermere Ranch is conveniently situated in Chandler’s fast-growing southern region amd is just minutes from the city’s s iconic downtown area as well as major East Valley employment centers, shopping, dining and other amenities via the SanTan Freeway and nearby major expressways.

On the other hand, the New Home Company, Aliso Viejo, Calif. has acquired 53 homesites for a new neighborhood of spacious single-family homes called Belmont within the master-planned community of Somerset in Gilbert. Construction on the Belmont model homes will begin before the end of the year with a neighborhood grand opening planned for spring 2018.

Designed by Bassenian Lagoni Architects, Belmont homes feature European influences with architectural styles ranging from Spanish Monterey to French Farmhouse with some offering “pop-up” options for a partial second story. These homes will come in three to six bedrooms, three and one-half to five and one-half bathrooms, three to four-car garages and up to 5,028 square feet of living space. Pricing has not yet been finalized but is expected to begin in the $700,000s.

Belmont buyers will also enjoy a number of recreational amenities in the master-planned community of Somerset ranging from parks, basketball to tennis. There's also a network of walking trails bridging each of the neighborhoods with a community lake.
