Honestly, I cannot remember the last time when over the course of a weekend I managed to sell 6 listings all at once like last weekend. Usually they are scattered a little bit. I try to put my listings on the market on Fridays, and some weeks I list a couple of homes every Friday. The way it's been going most of the year is I work for several months getting the homes ready, analyzing the market, preparing reports, helping the sellers clean up and make repairs, all the things that go into properly listing a home.
When it's finally ready, my very expensive photographer shoots photos on Tuesday, I upload them Thursday and Friday morning we are on the market. We do showings over the weekend, hold an open house on Sunday and by Monday we're in escrow.
Except the fall real estate market in Sacramento has deviated from that formula. Now it can take two weeks to sell a home, or even a little bit longer. But our market is still smokin' hot.
