Today is day 4 of the "12 Days of Thanks Giving 2017- ActiveRain Challenge"
offered by Debbie Reynolds.
Pam & I were blessed with 3 strong strapping sons. When they were little the pediatrician was amazed at how often we were in his office because of sickness or an injury. They were boy's boys if ya know what I mean. Ben, Jon & Andrew. We used to think we had 9 sons because all their friends would hang out at the house. Musta been cuz we would feed them...lol. I think most parents can write a book of antics about their children. We could too. Through all the trials and all the heartaches and all the frustrations of seeing them grow and fall then get back up it is a joy to see what they have turned out to be...so far.
Ben is now a Massachusetts Licensed Board Certified Master of Applied Behavioral Analysis...Huh? He works on behavioral issues within the Autism community by educating & encouraging the parents of autistic children. Ben is currently the Executive Director of an organization that works within the Autism community. They supply services to families of children with Autism in and around behavioral matters. Ben cooks and has won some very local cooking contests.
Jon is currently a government employee in a very specialized agency. He just returned from Asia with the Trump people. He knew from a very early age he wanted to be in law enforcement. Jon is also a bodybuilder.
Andrew nearly died last year from a tick bite. He's still recovering from that, believe it or not. He is a landscaper by trade. He likes motorcycles, race cars, off-roading, ATV's, snowmobiles. He has faced many challenges but never gives up. He is our free spirit. We have learned you cannot corral a free spirit.
Ben Jon & Bosston Andrew
There is a Bible verse in Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way they should go, even when they are old they will not depart from it.
We had our concerns but the God Lord has been there. It's not been easy but it has been rewarding and we are thankful for them.
