We don't make many of these events since we spend the December month in Florida but we do try to make a couple down there. The funny thing is they bring in ice in this one place so the kids can play with it like it was winter but at an 82 degree temp outside.

Joe Pryor ~ hi Joe... I get what you're saying about the ice in warm climates. I used to find it odd when we lived in Abu Dhabi.... at least here in Charlotte it gets cool enough in evenings to make it feel more "normal."

I'm such a bah humbug person, Nina, LOL. I was complaining to my husband yesterday about being FORCED to buy presents for everybody. I sound like such a crotchety person. He says to me, oh, I guess you won't mind if it I don't get you your coveted pepper spray then. Well, yes, I would, I really want THAT.

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents ~ that's one thing I'm not, Elizabeth... I love the Christmas season and I love to shop for gifts for those I care about... I get so much pleasure from finding just the right thing and then wrapping it beautifully. Now that the grands are grown up, all they want are gift cards so I'm reduced to just wrapping them up in a beautiful package. But the fun of selecting a wonderful gift is gone.
