On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 1:23 p.m., PNC Bank at Mayfield and Richmond, in Lyndhurst, was robbed by a suspect who said he had a bomb. The suspect and at least one accomplice fled the scene in a stolen auto and were involved in a traffic crash on Green Road just north of Monticello, in South Euclid. One suspect was transported to the hospital from the crash scene, as was one innocent motorist, with non-life threatening injuries. One suspect fled on foot from the crash. After a search by members of numerous law enforcement agencies, the suspect, an 18-year-old male, was found hiding in a dumpster and taken into custody. A bomb squad was called to inspect a suspicious package located in the getaway car.The American Heritage Girls Troop 0433 will be singing at the 2017 City of Lyndhurst, Ohio Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony And Food Drive on 12/01/17. City of Lyndhurst Civil Service Commission had a meeting on Thursday, 11/09/17 at 8:30 PM. Lyndhurst Board of Zoning Appeals had a meeting on Monday, 11/13/17 at 7:30 PM.
