Thursday I wrote about being thankful for the Internet for giving me access to people who need me. Today I’m thinking about all the wonderful people who use my copywriting services and who purchase my prospecting / farming letters.
I am so fortunate to get acquainted with ambitious agents across the whole country – and a few in other countries.
It’s fun to hear about their markets and their lives. I write more agent bios than anything else, and it’s fascinating to learn about the different paths people have taken that led them into real estate sales as a career.
I have met a couple of stinkers, but after working with hundreds of agents, I’m glad to say – ONLY a couple.
Some of my clients I help only one time – usually with their bios. Others have given me the privilege of writing the copy for their websites – and writing the updates over the years. They call on me when they need a new brochure or a letter for a special event, and they often stay in touch between times, just letting me know what’s been going on in their lives.
It’s always a thrill when I get an email that begins “You wrote my bio a couple of years ago, and now I need…” What’s better than being remembered?
I have grown very fond of many people I will never meet in person. Of course, the same holds true for the people I meet here in the Rain.
Who says friends have to be people you can meet for coffee?
