Does the Color System Creator Walk His Talk?

By
Home Stager with Color and Redesign Academy & Redesign Boise

We had a wonderful party during the We Make Color Easy Conference at the home of colorful Dewey Sadka.  It was an interesting and enjoyable time for all of us.  After a full day of Color Training it was truly refreshing time for all of us.  It was a delight to see and experience color in a whole new way.

You think you have seen beauty on television, but there is nothing like seeing it in person!  Dewey is a very fun and colorful personality.  He is so interesting, unique and really a creative genius!  We were able to appreciate him even more as he gave us a tour of his beautiful, inspiring and unique custom home.

Yes, I am here to tell you that he does walk his talk! Did you know that the colors you select can impact your moods in a variety of ways?  I love color and it is fun to feel the impact of color had on us as we experienced this amazing home. We experienced colors and beauty like never before.  Each color that he selected was to direct distinct emotion and purpose for each room.

Katy, It was one of those amazing experiences that just puts a smile on your face.  I'm glad you could enjoy the pictures.  Not every room has color, but color was used in doses with fabric, pillows and accessories.  It was fun!

Duane, Thank you!  It was fun and I love giving credit and encouraging others.  It feels good to honor those that have gone before us and pioneered such amazing things.  Love it!

Irene, it is amazing how much color affects your mood.  I wrote about how color affects your mood emotionally and physically for my college thesis.  My instructor said I deserved an "A" just for the originality of it.  I remember pink makes you feel weak and tired, orange makes your body want to use the bathroom, red makes you passionate and angry, yellow makes you anxious, blue makes less hungry and can act as a depressant.  Color is a very powerful thing!
