SOLUTION! A Real Estate Agent Website That Works (Final Chapter)

By
Real Estate Agent with Joe Manausa Real Estate 8508880888

Our new (and long anticipated) real estate website is live.

For those that have followed this series, I have a rather large website and wanted to upgrade. Rather than merely go through the arduous process in silence, I chose to share my journey in the hopes that others might use this as a blue print for getting a lead-generation website (or switching from their current provider).

If you just hit Google,  you'll find a mind-numbing number of solution providers that makes it nearly impossible to figure out which company to choose.

The Past

For those that are just seeing this, I royally screwed up when I chose my current provider, so I decided to be super careful when choosing their replacement. My previous provider lied to me during the sales process and to the very last day I was with them continued to amaze me with their disregard for customer service. And they are a "big name" in the real estate agent website industry!

The Process

I knew I had to take my time, develop a process, identify key criteria, and be far wiser this time around. Also, I figured I would share the process and criteria with ActiveRain readers because it is likely many of you are in need of a real estate website (whether new or improved).

As you know (or will see once you read the previous installments), I've gone through a countless number of service providers and found several that had great value. Eventually, I made my choice.

This is the sixth and final article I'm writing in the series, and you can view the previous installments on ActiveRain, which can be found here:

The Solution

Let me introduce you to the new Joe Manausa Real Estate website.

Joe Manausa Real Estate Website

We achieved all of our goals (see 30 point checklist here) and have a wonderful working relationship with SierraInteractive, the website provider.

Our mobile search is awesome, and they helped us transition over 40,000 user accounts (leads) so that our users would have a seemless transition from the previous platform. WOW! And that went far smoother than I could ever have imagined.

Our website is generating more than 50 leads per day right now, and I'm already noticing the benefits of their solid SEO (ask them about how they generate thousands of extra valuable pages on your site that will generate leads for years to come!).

Needless to say, I'm excited. I've got a super-effective real estate website, and I'm interacting with a company that has integrity and supports their product.

I can now spend my time blogging and generating more leads, while the heavy lifting is done by a company that I trust.

The Future

On a final note, one of the reasons that I switched to Sierra is that future features and modifications won't cost an arm and a leg (my last provider quoted me more than $60K to upgrade from their old platform to their new one, because they didn't want to support their old one any longer. Huh?).

I did my due diligence and spent many months ensuring I would be happy with the outcome (and I am). I strongly recommend SierraInteractive (note: They offer referral fees when an agent sends them other agents, I've asked NOT to be a part of this as I wanted to share the story as it truly unfolded).

You don't need to tell them I sent them, and you should do your due diligence as well. All I can share is that I did my homework this time, and it appears to be paying off handsomely.

Best of luck in your business!

What other website providers would you recommend apart from sierra interactive. Something that cost less than Sierra Interactive
