There’s a great event coming up in Aurora this weekend if you still have your family in town and are not quite ready to have leftover turkey yet. Sometimes 4-day weekends can get you out of the house faster than anything, so take some time to come down to main street Aurora. There is a Savor the Flavors walking tour this Sunday, November 26, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Depending on the weather, which for now is supposed to be sunny and mild, the booths could be outside on the main drag. If it is overcast or rainy these vendors will move indoors to their storefront locations.
This four-hour walking tour is free in that it costs nothing to walk the strip. As part of an effort to have more Aurora property management events, we are dedicated to walking down this strip and partaking in as many light refreshments as possible. In four hours you can make it down the strip and back with ease. Each vendor will have a variety of selection for you to pick from. Cash or Square will be accepted at every location. These tours are always a great way to discover a new restaurant you may like, or a new favorite dish at a place you have frequented before. These specialty shops should have an offering that they don’t usually have, which should let you decide if they are worth coming back to.
The tour will be punctuated with a happy hour complete with handcrafted local cocktails, beer and wine, and delectable local offerings of champagne. There’s rumors of some decadent salami and old-world style cupcakes as well. You will have to come by and see for yourself.
