I spoke to my mother yesterday.  She lives in West Virginia.  She told me that there are gas stations in their city that the pumps only go up to $3.99 a gallon!  They have the prices on their signs at half-gallon prices! The people who own these gas stations were told that they can no longer put half gallon prices on the signs and the pumps must be replaced by the middle of next week!  So I guess they already know that by the middle of next week, the price of gas in their town will be over $4.00 per gallon.  So sad!  My parents are in their mid 70's and have worked almost their whole lives.  They retired so that they could travel and enjoy life, now they can't afford to travel!  I surely hope whomever becomes our next president puts a stop to this!

Wow. That sounds like an unexpected expense for retailers.

Prices are just crazy.  Unleaded here is already at $4.03 and diesel is at $4.31!  I don't there is much the President can do, but something surely needs to be done.
