My dedication to my fellow agents is a strong one.  I am not a morning person.  I wake up around 8:30am and that's early.  I spend the first half of every work day in my "jammies" in the home office.   But today was a red letter day.

I woke up at 6:30am (after hitting the snooze once of course) and didn't even have a chance to drink my coffee before getting in the car to drive 30 minutes to another Broker's office to teach his agents the ins and outs of listing and buying short sales.

The course material was recently approved by VREB for credit, and likewise, so was I.  This is only my fourth year in the business, but if you know anything about short sales, you become invaluable very quickly.  So now I have put myself in a position to teach to my fellow agents.  A daunting task.

Didn't sleep much last night.  I was too nervous.  Everything went fine, despite my attack of nerves.  This was a dry run of a 3 hour class that my partner and I will do at our local association's fall conference.  Better to screw up in front of 20 agents that 300!

I'm glad the first class is behind us, and we can dissect it next week.  Looking for ways to improve the course.  I'll sleep good tonight!

Practice makes you perfect. I would try for one more class first.

My wife and you would get along. I was up at 3:50 am, which is typical after going to bed at a eleven. I work on paperwork and such till seven, then I do a little work around the house, before I am out for the day. My wife, who works at a hospital, has decided this is not normal, so she volunteered me for a sleep study program at her job.

Hi Chris Ann...  I have taught several Short Sale classes at my Market Center since I've been doing them for 4 years now and, as my Team Leader tells people, "Steve did Short Sales when Short Sales weren't cool."  If I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to let me know!

Frank:  I have to agree with your wife.  :)  That isn't normal.

Steve:  Thanks for the offer of help.  I may very well be in touch. My "partner in crime" is a team leader from a Keller Williams office out here.  Do you know MAtthew Durbin?  He's the co-chair of our local education committee and the reason this whole thing got started.  I sat through KW's short sale class when we were looking for as much information as we could find.  I was really impressed by their emphasis on educaton.
