What I Learned This Week At ActiveRain November 26- December 2, 2017.
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate, about a place or person! Or it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
November 26: Hella M Rothwell Sorry, you can't store items in your new home before closing.
I had the buyer of our house come over, without asking, with his crew and use my electricity to make modifications on our dock before closing. Not right, and I let him know it.
November 27: Grant Greene Size Can Be Deceiving
Lots of words but fun to read!
November 28: Kathryn Acciari Paying It Forward with Literacy Volunteers
Imagine trying to live and work in a country other than your own. Thank you, Kathryn, for your help with literacy!!!
November 29: Amy Bly (Week One) Lessons From Flipping
I hope that Amy follows up with more on her first flip! And if you’ve not flipped a house, her first lessons are worth reading about.
November 30: Mike McCann Perception is Really the Deception of Reality.
Love this post by Mike. How often do we realize that who we thought someone was, really wasn't?
Victoria Ray Henderson Marshall Henderson Should Take a Break From Social Media?
Interesting question! I've known some people who have taken a break from social media, including a Millenial. What do you think?
December 1: Anne Corbin Working Together is Critical
Anne brings in other well-written posts to remind us that agents working together as professionals can be good for the whole industry as well as for our clients.
December 2: Richard Zaretsky Selling a Deceased Relative's House
This is information that many homeowners don't think about. Not only is this an interesting read, but if you are considering using a guest blogger for your site, Richard's information could be a good fit. And if you're not, it's still good information to know.
Monica Hill Reactive or Proactive?
I must admit, I'd never thought of this as has Monica. Well worth your time to read.
Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!
