When the going got rough, they jumped ship.

Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Lately I have seen agents that dropped out during tough times getting back in.

They want in while the money is easier to get.

These agents don't care about you the consumer, only themselves.

Ask yourself this...

If you are buying or selling do you want an agent that knows how to work hard and stay with it...or

An agent the runs when the going gets tough...

Morning William.

Haven't seen it around here much. Once the market turns downwards they'll be gone again

There will always be those, William. I don't know that I've seen those who left coming back much, but I have seen an increase in new agents who all think this is easier to do than it is... they'll be gone in the next downturn.

Someone asked a question the other day if we use our years of experience as a marketing tool. So many agents said no and I can't understand why. I do all the time. With 25 years under my belt, I've seen it all, done it all, experienced every kind of market. And I have no hesitation to ask a prospective client if they want that kind of experience and commitment or someone who has none.

In many cases years experience does make a difference Nina Hollander yet I know some old timers who use years of service and are not even close to being on top of their game. Some are napping most of the time.

It seems to be the way the world works, people get in when the getting is good and drop out when things go south.

That is true William.  So many leave and then return when they see low hanging fruit.  Consumers do need to be smarter in deciding who to hire.

Amen Brother! I got into the business the year of the downturn. I rode the market all the way down and back up again. Gasp! Do you think I may have caused it?

Not sure if there is any time that is better than others, just the appearance that draws some in.

Most of it is all in what you are doing to build your business and work within the markets available.
