Neighbors and residents of the Hernando Beach Florida waterfront community gathered last weekend for a holiday lighting ceremony at the Hernando Beach Fire Station.
The firefighters had organized this event and invited the community for an evening of fun and fellowship! They had done a great job with the light display decorating the fire station! Oh, and there was hot chocolate and cookies, too!
While waiting for the countdown to the lighting ceremony, the fire safety house was on hand to teach kids about smoke and fire.
Santa rode in on a fire truck.... the reindeer are off for a few more weeks while Santa and Mrs. Clause were getting an early talking to kids big and small!
Hernando Beach, Florida is a residential boating and fishing community located just north of Tampa at the west coast of Florida. This is just one example of the community coming together to share into an event.
