Search homes for sale in the Tulsa areaFor the next six weeks, hundreds of lanterns illuminate River West Park. These lanterns come in all sizes, with some as tall as 30 feet high. But lanterns are only one part of the Tulsa Lantern Light Festival 2017. Guests enjoy face painting, mining for minerals, mini-golf, and inflatables. Test your navigation skills in the Forbidden City Maze. Hop aboard a dragon or a lion for a magical ride. And, on some of the nights throughout the festival, you'll even be able to enjoy a fantastic fireworks display. All this fun is sure to work up an appetite. Luckily, they provide some amazing Chinese food for sale as well.

Tulsa Lantern Light Festival 2017 Times

The festival runs from 5 pm to 10 pm every Thursday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, it stays open one extra hour. It's closed Monday through Wednesday. However, from December 21st to January 1st, the festival opens every day from 5 pm to 11 pm. It closes at 9 pm on Christmas Eve. For something extra special to do this New Year's Eve, the festival remains open until 1 am.

Tulsa Lantern Light Festival 2017 Prices

So, how much does all this fun cost? Adults pay $20 each. Seniors (ages 65+) and active military receive a $2 discount ($18 each). Kids ages 3 to 12 cost $16 each. But, every Thursday is family night. On those nights, you pay just $12 for each kid's ticket. VIP packages cost $49 each. With that, you get one kid's activity package, unlimited dragon rides, a mining bag, and a commemorative T-shirt. Kid's activity packages run $25 each ($22 on Thursdays). With this package, each child gets to play on as many of the inflatables as they want, receives unlimited mini-golf play, can choose between a dragon or a lion ride, and can journey through the Forbidden City Maze. Purchase tickets online here or at the box office. The on-site box office closes 45 minutes before the end of the day.

Celebrate the Far East right here in the south. The Tulsa Lantern Light Festival 2017 runs until January 14th. So, you have plenty of time for a visit. Enjoy!
