Tonight we went caroling at the nursing care facilities.
The residents love when we come and sing.
We will go once a week until Christmas is over.
It is one of the ways we donate our time to bring a smile on the faces of those less fortunate.
Sadly in today's world, it is not the same.

Love the cartoon! Bringing joy to people in nursing care facilities is such a rewarding thing to do... so many of those residents are very lonely and alone.
William, that is a very nice thing to do, simple and yet it will provide so much joy. I've noticed that carolling is becoming a little more popular again, I hope this trend will continue.

I had visited nusring facilities when my Mother needed skilled nursing. Many of these places are lonely and depressing. I am glad you feel the need to give them something to smile about.

Oh thank you so much. This is such a huge gift. I sure hope one of these days, more and more people will get sick of texting and not being "with" other people. I'm sure you and your wife feel fabulous when you visit and sing. :)

If I saw three polar bears outside of my door I may be a bit reluctant to answer it without a shotgun.
