The Elegance of Simplicity with Nature As Neighbors

By
Industry Observer with Nature As Neighbors

“If you will stay close to nature, to its simplicity, to the small things hardly noticeable, those things can unexpectedly become great and immeasurable.”
― Rainer Maria RilkeLetters to a Young Poet

According to science, nature seeks simplicity, striving for the most energy efficient outcome. Humans often do the opposite. The more complex and complicated we make our lives, the less satisfied we feel. Perhaps that is why we feel so refreshed and relaxed after spending time in a natural setting.

At ViewHomes of Clark County with Nature As Neighbors™, we sell properties that contribute to health and well-being.  Homes on acreage that soothe souls and remind us of the simple beauty found in nature. Simplicity, in its pure form, is quite elegant. Simply luxurious.

Good morning, Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD oh how true.... I love to simplify.... I'm all for making my life simple.... I've downsized to a small gambrel cape style home from a 100' cape....my living room in the big home is the same dimentsion as the entire foundation in my present home.... I love it.... I can maintain it...no cleaning people to hire.... I gave my furniture away to those who wanted it (family was asked first).... now I live the simple life.

Yet, there is nothing simple about your life. It's so ironic, simplification leads to great joy, success and often, great health. You're doing it right, Barbara. D

Debb, love your photo, and wish our lives could be so simplistic, but not quite possible when doing several real estate deals, unfortunately!

Joan, we too are having a busy December. However, when we return home and are surrounded by the soothing sights of Nature - the calm returns. The simplicity returns. :)

Our lives are certainly more hurried & complex than they were just 15 years ago. Multitasking is now the norm & we're constantly being pulled in many different directions. It's imperative that we take time to disconnect & enjoy the silence when given the opportunity.

Life is more beautiful in its uncomplicated simplicity.  Love the little tree.  This year, I bought a Rosemary Christmas tree and decorated it.  It stands no more than 18".  I love it!
