As the weeks approach the big day, Christmas, there will be plenty of events to attend and things to see. There are some events to look forward to and some events to keep in your mind. There is something else to consider as well get closer to the big day. That is the inevitable closure of the main operation putting on these family friendly Christmas events. The Rec Centers will have certain closures to keep in mind on the holiday weekend. There are closures Sunday December 24 and Monday December 25th. The rec centers closing should be of no surprise, as you should be busy with your family at that time.
The Closure for Sunday 12/24 will happen at 4:00pm that day. You will be able to get in your last workout before the big meal and your last tennis court session before you will sit down and open a bountiful number of presents. The rec center will be closed for all of Christmas day on Sunday 12/25 and will re-open right at the start at of 8am on Monday December 26. This is great if your family has left town by this point and you feel the need to work off whatever you may have consumed the day before. The day after Christmas is historically the busiest day pre-new years resolution surge. It’s an interesting day to go the rec center, gym and tennis courts. If you are looking to avoid a big crowd maybe wait until Tuesday to go.
