The Holiday Season is here! In fact, it's been here for a couple weeks if you were basing it off commercials and store decorations. With Christmas being right around the corner, I am working hard on ensuring we finish out our year while being prepared for the new one. Which means that I have been running around like a chicken without its head as I try to "do it all." When you have so much on your plate, it is very easy to become a human whirlwind as you move from one project to the next. I know this because I was one of those winds this morning! 

I was working on getting papers I would need to visit clients, looking for different sets of data, setting up a flyer, signing client Holiday cards, all while trying to drink my coffee. Finally when I had a moment to breathe after finishing up some bits here and there, I decided to finally enjoy my beverage only to find something off about it...

Turns out some loose glitter from the cards I was signing managed to flutter right into my coffee! As much as I like to put glitter on things, my coffee is not one of them.

I got a good laugh despite my drink now being ruined, but it was a very good reminder that doing too much can leave you faced with a new problem. I was lucky that it was near the end of my drink that this happened, so I still got to enjoy and get the caffiene I desperately needed. However, it did get me to hand off some tasks to my assistant who had the time to help, which let me really focus on the more pertinent items.
