I remember what it was like when I was first starting out.
I bootstrapped everything. No budget. No plan. No resources.
I remember lugging my flipchart and markers into humble homes. Yellow pads with trends, stats, projections and objections. And lets not forget that big book containing the current listings. So often the lights went out before I had my stuff set up. That was the old days when the rampant speculation was, "Do you think this Intenet thing will catch on?"
I didn't stop at "Now what?" I persisted. I kept going. And that hard work built the foundation for a successful business.
So I want you to know, dear new agent...we see you. Here on Active Rain, we see you grinding it out. We see you finding your legs, creating your solutions, gaining your voice, making your way in a highly competitive world.
In your question and blogs I see your drive and determination to create your plan for success and put that plan into action without much hand holding.

Even though you’re a self-starter… I want you to know
I’m still in your corner. I want you to claim your piece of the pie. And we will all, all of us RAINERS, share in the celebration of your accomplishments.
We are all here to see you succeed at the highest level while also respecting the independent nature of the path you’ve chosen. Whatever that path is. Often you will feel like a salmon, always swimming upstream while others are not.
2018 compels a new calender full of blank days. What will you be writing into each day?
As you work out your way, make AR part of your day. Because when you are here, we do see you when you say 'Hello." We are all feariously independant yet find benefit in a community that shares a helping hand and a teaching heart.
The language of exhortation is most common here. So come on board the train and enjoy the magic of the rain.
