Rustic Home in Kentlands
Residents of Kentlands recently received notices that home inspections will begin this month. I wonder if the inspectors will take note of this home that has definite signs of deferred maintenance.

Roy: Hopefully those homeowners who have been deferring maintenance will get it done before their home is inspected (although not sure that will be likely with the winter weather).

Free income tax preparation through the VITA program is available for Montgomery County residents making $54,000 a year or less. Click here to schedule an appointment. There are several sites throughout the County. The Gaithersburg location will assist taxpayers on Mondays from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Benjamin Gaither Center from January 22 to March 5. Other providers will be on hand to offer banking services and community service resources. This is a partnership between the Montgomery County Community Action Agency and Bank On Gaithersburg.
