I always enjoy handpicked markets like this one. A shortage of them where I live now though--- maybe I haven't looked everywhere yet (and I'm hearing of new markets planned for some of the newer areas). I find those places a great escape sometimes, to just relax and get inspired for fun in the kitchen. Cheers for your day!

I've heard so many good things about Caputos but haven't been there yet...even though it's literally just a few miles down the street! I need to check it out, and soon!

Judy, this sounds like a wonderful independent grocer and produce market. I love the independent types as it seems you can find the out of the way items or the quality of everything is just a notch above the chains. It's cool they have a web site too. You find everything in your driving around don't you? : ) Think of me when you're selecting cantalopes. That's always the tough assignment for me trying to consistently find good ones.
