A Blizzard - Bombogenesis - Winter Hurricane and Coastal Flooding

You would not believe it. What is worse than the Polar Vortex? The answer in the Manchester NH area is this blizzard followed by the deep freezes return. We have near a foot in my yard as I type this at 6pm. The wind is howling with blizzard conditions. The seacoast has massive flooding with astronomical high tides accompanied by the storm surge. All the water is staying put and expected to freeze solid. Rescues under way now.  

Believe it or not I was out showing homes this morning and setting up appointments. We haven't seen the plow since earlier today. I did manage to get a Large Iced Coffee at Dunks to tide me over. As the storm moves away tonight the winds are going to crank up to 50mph into Friday. The high temp. will be 11 Friday and that will be the temp at midnight tonight.

HOW DID I SURVIVE? Well first off I am very grateful for my purchase of the Telescoping Snow Broom with Ice Scraper.  No kidding there was like 4 feet of snow mounded on my car.

It is probably a good think I got a new Snow Shovel, as my favorite one broke. The snow blower finally started after i was nearly done doing it by hand.

Stay tuned for some pictures. The road to the beach was closed after a few not so smart drivers got stuck in 3 feet of water and stalled. This pic was from the blizzard of 2015. Lets see if we can top it. 

I leave you with my infamous reminder that there is a difference from agent to agent.  That a Buyer or Seller should not choose just any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job.
