Mother Nature is brewing up the first storm of 2018.
When you live in Lake Arrowhead (the mountains) severe storms can mean anything from strong winds, heavy rain, hail and, of course, snow. At this point, the weather folks are saying we may experience all of those. I know you've heard it before, but I'll repeat it here, BE PREPARED. For example:
- Carry chains in your vehicle, along with a shovel & warm clothing (in case your get stuck somewhere). Cat litter for traction (if you get stuck)
- Keep plenty of batteries on hand for your flashlights (inside your home & car)
- Make sure your house is "winter ready."
