For this challenge, Debbie Reynolds asks that we pick 3 goals or things we plan to pursue this year that are important to us.
My first goal is to get my listings sold. At this time, I have 17 listings and my goal for 2018 is to get them all sold. Nine are land listings and eight are residential homes (one residential is under contract). Land listings and the higher priced residential homes do not sale fast. Land is very reasonable here in Greenbrier County compared to other areas in the United States. The higher priced homes are harder to sell as there are not many buyers looking for homes over $400,000. I have five listings over that price.
My plan of action has already started. I hired Katerina Gasset and her VA Assistants to create landing pages on my website to get more Internet presence, as well as SEO. The VA’s will do landing pages for my higher priced residential homes and land. I will continue to view the VA’s progress and to boost ads on Facebook.
My second goal is to start an exercise regime and keep to it. I use to walk 2-4 miles a day. This past year, I didn’t exercise like I should. At age 71, I need to exercise more. We have an exercise room downstairs and I just need to just do it. My plan is to walk on the treadmill and use the Proform XP 160 Elliptical Machine. I will be taking my husband’s advice and use a calendar to mark how far I walk each day. This will be on my desk and I can see how I am progressing each week.
My third goal for 2018 is to travel around the state. I’ve been wanting to do this and again we just need to do it. There is so much to see here in West Virginia. My husband and I will plan trips for events/landmarks around the state. We did some traveling in 2017, but since we are getting older, we both want to do more traveling and visit family located in and out of state.
I hope to succeed in 2018 with my above goals.
