The Las Vegas Valley residents, as well as homebuyers across the country love master-planned communities. More than 28,000 home buyers purchased homes in the top 50 master-planned communities in the nation last year. While new home sales grew 9% last year, master- planned sales grew by twenty percent.
The Southwest master-planned made the top 25 and claimed 24 percent of the top 50- Las Vegas new home sales produced more top 25 master planned communities than any other city in the ranking from the John Burns Real Estate Consulting firm.
Ken Perlman, Principal Consultant in Las Vegas, stated “Summerlin continues to maintain its position as not only one of the premier master plans in Las Vegas, but in the country. Howard Hughes has a truly diverse, life-style oriented community, integrating walkable “suburban” product, single-family homes for all buyer profiles, luxury production and custom home opportunities, and some of the best active adult housing in the nation. The evolution of Downtown Summerlin has created an off-Strip retail and lifestyle anchor that is unlike any other in Las Vegas.”
The demographic shift is indicating strong growth in both the younger and older buyers is driving the demand – master plans offered more active adult and age-targeted neighborhoods, and builders are attempting to build more entry-level buyers.
If you are looking for a newly built home in a master-planned community and have an existing home you would like to sell so you can buy that newly built home the Nevada Builder Trade-In Program operated by the Smith Team-Realtor- Keller Williams Las Vegas Realty might be the answer.
The homebuilders in the program are Beazer Homes, CalAtlantic Homes, Century Communities, Pulte Homes and Woodside Homes. In Mesquite our partner is Sun City Mesquite by Del Webb. We also work with other builders other than our builder partners that are sitting with standing inventory and we offer similar benefits as the Nevada Builder Trade-In Program. The builder partners in the program offer over 50 neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley.
