Friday Photo: The Urge To Create!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants

We just spent two hours walking and exploring on the beach.  It is a beautiful day and the temperatures are in the high 60's.  This boy and his brother have been here since 11:00 this morning building a compound (pictured below).

They can't get to their school on the other side of Santa Barbara...not a bad place to get stuck until Monday!  We loved how they channeled their energy into the urge to build.

That's what I would call a beach fort! How creative of them to use drift wood in this way.

Well, when life gives you extra material on the beach, do something with it! Children seem to get it right. I'm sure they are enjoying a day building at the beach in lieu of school.

Roy Kelley I think their mom is going to have to take the long road to get them there.  The road that we all hoped would be opened on Monday is now closed "indefinitely!"  A

These pictures shout out to me "what ever happened to sand castles?" I do understand that everyone has their own concept of what art is and I see genius in what has been built here. Thank you for having your camera with you or I guess your phone at all times Alexandra of Ron and Alexandra Seigel

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS, I agree it is genius.  Sand castles require water, and beach goers have been advised to stay out of the water as a lot of stuff has been dumped with the mudslides...A

Myrl Jeffcoat thank you for the feature.  I have to confess that we were feeling wonky about not being able to go anywhere...luckily this was remedied today by letting us have access South.  We were able to go to Trader Joe's in Ventura, and replenish our organic stash of veggies, etc.  A

Endre Barath, Jr. they were great guys as was their mom.  They go to school in Goleta at a Waldorf school, and in order to get them back to school, she is going to have to drive S to get to the 5 and head north and then come down to Goleta.  The train would take two hours, because of Montecito...they have to crawl througj the area.  The economic impact is horrendous...A

Great that they had an outlet for their young energy.  Mom was smart in bringing them to the beach during a challenging time.
