There are so many reasons we love selling Viewhomes™ of Clark County, but the main reason is knowing we are enhancing lifestyles for our clients. We discovered, first hand, the many benefits of living in a more rural setting. Coincidentally, when we were craving Nature As Neighbors with elbow room for the soul, many of our real estate clients were asking for the same thing. It's no wonder.
Increasingly, scientists and psychologists are finding more and more evidence to support studies suggesting many people need more time connecting with nature. The benefits are quite remarkable, from increasing our longevity to the simple day-to-day enjoyment of life. Conversely, a lack of time spent in nature has some pretty negative implications for our health - stress, mental health discorders, and a lack of feeling connectioned to others.
Our need for connecting to Mother Nature isn't new either. John Muir knew the importance, and touted it often, "And into the forest I go, to lose my mind, and find my soul." In 1845, Henry David Thoreau wrote the book "Walden." It was his ode to simpler living, communion with nature, and self-sufficiency.
Busy lives make it easy to overlook the importance of nature. If you aren't getting enough nature, you're not alone. Got nature? We do.
