I receive Daily Health Newsletters in my email. Today, I received one and wanted to share part of it with you today.
The last newsletter was on crying, and the writer had received a lot of comments on the subject. I found the below comments from a woman very interesting.....
“After I lost my husband unexpectedly, I was lost in an unchartered sea of grief, drowning in wave upon wave of seemingly unending tears. Soon afterwards, I learned that the chemical make-up of tears of grief, tears of joy, tears of compassion and tears of laughter were quite different from each other.
Isn't it just like our loving God to create tears in such a way? And that He would help ‘heal’ our grief with releasing tears to cleanse us of stress and sadness? The love of God knows no bounds. And this life never ceases to amaze me. "
I can shed tears over the silliest movie, looking at old photos of my parents/siblings, or reading about abuse of children and animals. Sometimes listening to a co-workers problems. And yes I have shed tears of happiness and sorrow for my clients.
Crying is a unique way of looking at grief, or at happiness.
Happy Sunday to All.
