I am no longer a licensed real estate agent, but can pull a lot of information from Pacific Appraisal Associates here in Wenatchee. PAA does a Real Estate Snapshot report each month for Wenatchee, Leavenworth and Cashmere. These reports are full of very interesting statistics. It doesn't tell the whole story, but it certainly shows trends in the market.
I live in a fairly small market area compared to many of you so, perhaps, you will find the info interesting.
Here is a summary of the Leavenworth market area for 2017:
Closed Sales 2016: 191
Closed Sales 2017: 204 (up 7%)
Median Sales price 2016: 323,750
Median Sales Price 2017: 388,500 (up 20%)
Most active price range $300,000 - $350,000
Leavenworth is a wonderful Bavarian-themed resort town 25 miles west of Wenatchee. It has been named the best Christmas town in America at least once. There is always something going on in Leavenworth and if you love brats, beer, beautiful scenery, and an overall fun time, put Leavenworth on your bucket list.
Although Leavenworth is included in the same Association of Realtors® as the Wenatchee market, it is a very specialized market area, and I recommend a local specialist that works the Leavenworth area exclusively.
