It's Snowing!!!!!
This is a phrase that here in the south we don't get to say very often. Usually, the weather man will call for snow, everyone goes out and buys their milk and bread (which I've never really understood), then it does nothing! Or it snows a little and doesn't stick, or we get our great ice storms where the power just goes out!
BUT every once in a while we do get real snow! It's usually 1-3", kids have a blast, and school is out for a week! This is what happened the first week in January here. SO...that was our snow for the year and our little bit of extra time off work/school.
So when they called for more snow today...huh? No we already did that! The kids are finally back in school, things are back to normal, the stores are restocked! We never have two snow storms! Well, guess what?
IT'S SNOWING AGAIN...A LOT!!
We are currently at 7" ....I know for the northerners this sounds like nothing! But this is a lot for us! Even more so as a second storm in a few short weeks!
But this is typical NC weather, First a Snowstorm-63 this weekend-now back to snow!
