Saturday Smiles: Exploring The Rainbow Bridge Market in Ojai!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

Since we cannot get to the Santa Barbara Farmers Market due to the closure of the Northbound 101, we decided to have breakfast in Ojai.  After breakfast, we went over to the Rainbow Bridge Market to explore some of their offerings.  Here are some brands they carry that made us smile:

do you have to be hip to buy these?

Now you know, what it takes to have good karma!

And with bean crisps, enlightenment is guaranteed at $4.05 a bag!

Wishing you lots of Saturday smiles!

Update on life in Santa Barbara County:

Hopefully, this coming Monday (we are all crossing our fingers and paws), we will be able to traverse the 15 mile stretch of freeway that has been closed for 10 days now.  Workers have been steadily removing the eight feet of mud and debris that have closed the 101 North Bound Freeway daily in 2-12 hour shifts.

In Carpinteria, we have a  daily convoy of trucks every 5 minutes picking up dredged mud and debris at each creek  tributary (8.1 miles in total) that flows into the ocean.  We had to buy an air filtering device to keep our indoor air fresh, and dust daily.  Through all this, there are many reasons to still smile and maintain a positive outlook!

I'm sure you left the market with good karma and enlightenment, although not necessarily in cartons and packages. Hope your life returns to normal soon - your attitude is wonderful - of course.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD we were delighted to find that they carried Cow Girl Creamery cheese (from Northern California).  The ladies who own it make extraordinary cheese and not long ago bought the Strauss Organic dairy.  We did buy that as well as some raw milk cheddar and Jack cheese...A

Hi Alexandra and Ron... hopefully the roads will be open soon for you. I miss your gorgeous farmers market produce pictures. Meantime, all I can say is that you've presented a whole bunch of foods that are not on my diet and some which I've never heard of and can probably go to my grave without knowing!

Nina Hollander me too, and since the predicted light rains have no shown up, I think their work has been made easier.  They are hoping to reopen the business section of Montecito 70 businesses are affected, and they are water blasting the mud off the streets.  I feel for all those people, and they are stuck, they cannot come our way, not can they go North.  At least, we have an outlet.  A

Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert we have heard a lot of moaning and groaning!  That does not make us happy, so we are out there counting our blessings and finding how to make the best of everything.  Exploring the Ojai scene is something we would not have done.  We have learned a lot and found an amazing wine store dedicated to small producers.  A

Those bean crisps should go will with a happy hour wine or craft beer.
