**Update 5** Eastbound FM 1171 has reopened, however westbound FM 1171 and all of US 377 north of FM 1171, will remain closed for the foreseeable future. For those who have students at Argyle Middle School, you can access Canyon Falls via 35W, north on US 377 from Roanoke to westbound FM 1171, or south on US 377 from FM 407 entering Canyon Falls via Canyon Falls Drive near the Courthouse. **Update 4** FM 1171 is fully closed from Pocahontas to US 377. Access to Montalcino Estates, Roanoke Hills, and Tour 18 is available again. **Update 3** Please be aware - there are NO evacuations being ordered at this time, nor have any neighborhoods in the area of this grass fire been asked to prepare to evacuate. Both directions of US 377 remain closed north of FM 1171. **Update 1** Both directions of US 377 are closed north of FM 1171, due to a large grass fire. **Original Post** There is a large grass fire on the northeast corner of FM 1171 and US 377. The Flower Mound Fire Department is being assisted by several agencies from across Denton County to contain the fire. Motorists should avoid the area if possible. We'll provide updates as they become available.
