Mid-Year Review of A New Englander

Well, it's New England! And I am a New Englander!

The year 2013 reminded me of the same, albeit for my business that...it's New England!

The Sun just peeked through thick clouds and shone over snow reflecting rays back into nowhere. And that's how I began my year 2013, too.

Unlike last winter, where most of us wondered if we could call it a winter, this year was relatively harsh and difficult - and very true of my business, too.

The impact was direct and obvious - slow start to the year. To an extent that I had to re-write my goals which were almost tending to be unrealistic!

Come spring and.......and all of a sudden, we saw the bright sun-shine! The market got hot, really hot! I mean, really, really, really hot!

The impact? Sure some buyers who I loved showing homes again and again and again were now in love with the home even at that higher price and ended our loving tours every weekend. Who should I thank for this drastic change of behavior in my buyers?

So thankfully, I have caught up and made up mostly for the slow start. And am busy with lots of ongoing activities related to referrals and marketing myself on Internet.

Okay, so it is needless to remind you (or myself) that the season of snow is not far away! Now that's where the change will occur. 

I have filled in my pipeline to have my 4th quarter as good, if not better, as 3rd quarter - thanks to pouring in referrals for both buyers and sellers. (well, just listed one and got the price reduction on another one - with couple of more relocation listings coming up soon - which makes me believe that this will be my best year ever! I intend to make this my best year ever in Real Estate!)

Like life, even our business has seasons!

So, here was the story of first half of 2013 --- or......
