We see far less bank owned properties coming to market, but there are still some, not always a great bargain as the banks are doing the fixing up now to get the maximum dollar they can, but often it is lipstick on a pig so the buyer needs to be aware they may very well be redoing some of that work again.

My specialty seems to be dealing with buyers who call from Zillow looking at preforeclosures, and I have to carefully explain why they can't buy those houses, amd why they probably don't really want to buy any foreclosure. What they want to do is get a good deal. And in today's market, that's pretty hard to get a discount when the home is listed by reputable agent.
