I have lived in my new old home for five and a half years now. When I moved, there were things I couldn't find. Some of those things have turned up, but most never did. Since that time I have lost things in my home that, like the socks that seem to disappear in the wash, are no where to be found. It is frustrating for sure but I keep hoping that one day they will appear somewhere I would never think to look.
Yesterday I cleared and cleaned out my wrapping drawer. I had so many gift bags and so much tissue paper, but could never find what I was looking for. Now it is organized and I think it will work better for me.
Today I cleared out a jewelery drawer and removed empty boxes. Many of these boxes are beauties themselves and now I know where they are without having to open everything. It feels good.
Tomorrow I have a job picked out too. It is always hard to get started, but I am absolutely committed to getting control of my stuff. Who knows, perhaps I'll find something I have lost. I guess I'll never know unless I get on it.
