...and I smiled. Small talk with an agent this week who mentioned she was not getting clients from social media and was closing her accounts. I cannot say I was all that surprised. She had plenty of head knowledge from various webinars/seminars but had the set it and forget about it mentality. She did not get it...when you take the SOCIAL out of SM, you might as well shutdown your accounts because there will be zero prospects, leads, or clients from that source. All I could do at that point was wish her well knowing it was another lost opportunity. ...and I smiled. ;-)
Did You Know...according to Zephoria, the highest amount of FB traffic happens mid-week between 1-3pm. Mix up your post times and see for yourself if activity goes up during this timeframe. ;-)
I get asked often how I pick who gets chosen for Facebook Fridays each week. Sometimes I choose a Rainer at random through the rolls, occasionally I pick those who have been highlighted in the past, once in a while I see someone who looks like they can use fresh visitors, sometimes I am contacted either via comments or emails, and other times I just run across them when reading a post. I typically generate the list on Wednesday (typically the day I visit their FB page to let them know they will make the current weeks article) and either put the post together that night or Thursday evening. That is my not-so-secret method for those who have inquired.

Figuring out which social media platforms to go "all in" on can be difficult, especially if time and/or abilities/knowledge are limited. Once you choose one or more, give them everything you can. Having skin in the game often means we will see it through and make sure it works. Know what I mean?!!!
