The Regenerative Design Institute in Bolinas (http://regenerativedesign.org/) is a non-profit educational organization with the vision that all people can live in a mutually enhancing relationship with the earth. Their focus is on educating people in setting up permaculture systems in backyards, schools, farms, etc. 

Permaculture is a way to design landscaping so that the plants, animals and humans all benefit each other. 

Permaculture can include rainwater harvesting, grey water systems, worm composting, bee keeping, natural building materials like earth, straw, stone and bamboo and much more.

On Sunday at their farm in Bolinas, we toured their grounds and learned about their projects, history and educational programs.
