Taking Stock -- Welcome To the Trunk Show

A lot of serious doubts have been voiced here about the choice of AR star Patricia Kennedy as an Apprentice in the Makeover2Takeover contest. My Apprentice, that is.

Oh -- just you wait.

When we received our first M2T contest challenge today (in short, to develop a powerful contact management system), I briefly touched base with Pat to take stock of how the seasoned multi-million dollar top producer currently manages her SOI or farm or whatever she uses to generate all those great leads and referrals.

Well, let me tell you this much: it’s plain unbelievable shocking.

I haven’t quite gathered all the information yet, but I don’t know how she does it.

You’ll get an idea of what I’m talking about when I give you a glimpse into the trunk of her Lexus.

I'll check out her laptop later.

P.S.: I quickly snatched this picture when Pat graciously showed up to help me price a new listing today… Pat, forgive me.

Cookies(?), paper towels, soda, signs, a lockbox...yep, all the essentials!

Oh sure, Kelly, it's all there! And surely all the right contacts can be found on her hard disk as well--somewhere.

LOL! That is awful! I'd be embarrassed for my clients to see that. Of course, I have an SUV so it's easy to just look over the back seat, but I can't stand clutter o.O I have a lot of necessary items back there, but I have it all organized in sections, boxes, and a plastic hanging file carrier.

Wow ! And I thought I was bad !

Damn. Amelia Earhardt! What do you know?

Catarina, my trunk is almost as bad as Pat's, but not quite. I don't think I have any food back there!

Lisa--wow, a hanging file carrier! Now that's a good example. Please, send a picture of your trunk!

Melissa--shhh, don't tell anybody: I'm so glad my car's trunk isn't the subject here ;-)

I'm working with Melissa virtually but as she describes her system I get a little frightened. We're gonna MAKE OVER! Good lookin' trunk. Looka like you're busy! Later in the rain~Deb

Catarina, Melissa Grant sent me photos today of her "special places" and I'm scared! How do you do that? I guess as long as it works then go for it! We're coming up with a system for repair....

Boy this is some scary stuff....not that our trunks might look like this, but that we might have to clean it up:) I finally cleaned my trunk out (it had gotten too embarrasing) only to refill it with 22 bags of coffee, and 10 boxes of cereal.....LOL....I leave them there cuz there's no room for them in the house :)

Kathy--coffee and cereal? That's what I live on--I could move right into your car. Might have to research one of those mini coffee makers that can be plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Catarina- No problem....I have one ..... Bought it at one of those trucker gas stations :) Do you take cream and sugar....LOL:)

Now for conversation....we can talk about how we both have the same nickname of cati....and where you were a foreign correspondent from.......

No sugar, please... (although I wouldn't mind candy to go with the coffee). I used to work for Der Tagesspiegel, a newspaper in Berlin, Germany (kind of like the German version of the Washington Post).

Well... she's ready for just about anything! Too funny!

Catarina~ good thing Pat has a great sense of humor about all this!

This is one of the best postings of the contest I have seen yet. Reality and truth! I love it. I laughed out loud.

Toilet Paper, the most essential!!!

Irina-yes, she certainly is! She generally doesn't waste much time hesitating!

And Lisa, yes, that's right as well. (Which is why this contest has been great fun from minute one.)
