Positive and Negative Emotions Cannot Occupy The Mind at the Same Time
So...Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive, Eliminate the Negative, Latch on to the Affirmative, Don't Mess with Mister In-Between.
"Positive Thinking will let you do EVERYTHING better than negative thinking" - Zig Ziglar

Today's daily dose of Organek Food for Thought combines Think and Grow Rich's Chapter 12 on The Subconscious Mind and Zig Ziglar's quote on outcomes based on a positive or negative state of mind.
Think And Grow Rich's "The Subconscious Mind" - The Connecting Link. My takeaway from the eleventh step towards riches for today has to do with a simple fact: The mind cannot have both positive and negative thoughts at the same time. One or the other will prevail. It is up to you to choose which will prevail. If you don't believe me, JUST ASK FACEBOOK. Here's a simple test for you: Enter the abyss of negative thinking vicariously. Think of one of your friends on Facebook that despises a particular person, Democrat or Republican. Then, look at the comments put under each post they did. Click on the name of the person that added negative fuel to the fire and see how they post. Pick commenter's from those negative posts and see what they write about. The proof is in the pudding.
Conversely, take a look at my posts. Pick commenter's from my posts and click on their names. See what they post about. Click a commenter's name from one of the posts and see what kind of positive vibes they are sending. Does Facebook put you into a cesspool or in happy-land?
The best way to escape a Zombie is to walk quietly away before they eat your brains and make you join them. (Replace "Zombie" with "negative people") - Mark Organek
The Quote of the Day (and not my made up quote above):
"Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking." - Zig Ziglar
The choice is completely yours. If you think something will be horrible that you have to do, it will so have a positive attitude anyway and you'll likely do it better.
The mash-up: Positive thinking is better than negative thinking.
Duh! Everyone knows that.
Even so, I have had my episodes (long episodes lasting quite some time) where I was in a rut of negativity (I'm positive I was negative). I'm just glad I got out of it. At least I was able to get out and I am better prepared now. Here's how I react when negativity comes around me: RUN!
Seem a little like I'm a chicken? Darn right! Why should I stick around for a zombie to infect me and take over my brain?
