Today my gang and I are going to their doctor for the annual visit, check up and shots. It is always stressful because I just never know what Dr. Ray will find. Fortunately the pups seem to be comfortable with him but are always anxious and eager to come home. Finding a good Vet in a new area is always a challenge and I am so pleased to have found Dr. Ray. He is in a practice with four others and each is committed to animals. That isn't always a given. Dr. Ray talks like Mr. Rogers but is genuine and kind and my gang is in his very good hands. Keep a good thought for us.......aging in place is a dog thing too.

May the force be with you during your visit to the Dr. Dixie had dental a couple weeks back but is not at 100%.  We have to stay on top of our furkids medical needs.

Sheila Anderson - You're a great guardian and pet owner. That's great photo. I can tell they like their own space but like companionship. They must love you so much! Finding the right Vet is critical. You always do the right thing.

You are a good Dog Mom!  I think it's so important to make sure our fur babies are aok. I'm sure Chico will be just fine after his minor surgery on Wed. It's probably harder on you!!

Hi Chris Ann. I am glad to be home. Chico needs surgery on Weds. He has a growth over his eye and will have a dental too. I had him groomed today because after surgery he won't be able to get wet for two weeks or after the stitches are removed. Please keep him in your thoughts. TY     Sheila

We wish Chico the best on Wednesday...and you are so right about vets.  It tooks us 3 vets before finding the right one in Napa.  Here we heard about the head of Carpinteria Vet Hospital who had owned two Abby cats.  He is the best.  Sadly he retired and is enjoying all kinds of trips (Gorilla one I mentioned) and he left behind good vets.  A
