How nice of you to post about Roger and the books he has written. I was so sorry to hear Mickey passed away last Thanksgiving on Facebook. So many wonderful stories, remarks and comments from Roger on his relationship with Mickey..so entertaining!!

I'm so sorry to hear Roger's mom passed away. I appreciate you sharing that information with all of us. It's really nice of Roger to donate the proceeds from his books to a charity. 

I didn't even know he was writing books. Good for him.

I enjoyed all of Roger's books.  They were easy to read and made me want to write a book (or 3) about my own life.

I had a long talk with Roger not too long ago and he told me the whole story of Mickey's last days and her passing. So sorry to know she is gone, but so happy to know she is finally at peace.  It was a very rough few years for her at the end.

I got Pennies From Heaven but haven't read it yet. It is on my husband's iPad, which he is almost always using so I have to time it right to have access to the book. LOL

I do believe she is in a better place Sharon Tara and it seems like she had a really good life.  It's not like it happened all of a sudden, so I am sure that Roger is coping with it well enough.  I still have to read the 2nd book before I read this one, I am a slacker because I don't really enjoy reading, haha.
