This morning I took my four pups to the Vet for their annual visit and to get their shots and other needed stuff. It went pretty well but my youngest Chico needs surgery on Wednesday to remove a growth above his eye that is getting bigger and will have his dental while under as well. It is scary but necessary. All my dogs needed a groom but I wanted to wait for the Vet visit first. I was able to get Chico in at the last minute because he won't be about to have a bath for two weeks after his surgery.
On Wednesday the other three will be groomed and then, G-d willing, I will have my gang all back and well. I am eager for Thursday to come but in the meantime I tackled tasks at home. I got the replacement solar light I ordered last week after a friend drove over the original. Since it was in the forties and fifties this past weekend I made a hole in the unfrozen ground to place the new one. I lost a spinner to the wind and jerry rigged a deep hole to get it planted deeper in the ground, and supported with rocks from around my property. I found a vase that I stupidly left outside that had cracked and brought it in to glue it back together.
I made a trip to the dump and then washed my pups coats. A lot of things done today and now I'm thinking about dinner. So that's my day. I hope you had a good one too.
