Think And Grow Rich's "The Six Ghosts of Fear" - A Personal Inventory.
Indecision is the root of the Six Ghosts of Fear. Indecision leads to doubt. Then, doubt and indecision make the offspring FEAR. Ponder it and make sure you believe it before you read on. If you need help, consider that although you may not fear poverty now, if you did, how did it start off? In order for you to be afraid of poverty you needed to start with a "What if?" question. That led to you pondering and pondering the good and bad things that could happen. Instead of taking action on a good thing, you may have just kept pondering...Indecision. Then, during the period of indecision, if you kept the pondering and indecision up, you start to doubt that you can do the things that you know will keep you out of poverty...doubt. When you start having doubts about success or your ability to achieve it, you have Fear. At that point, the ghost of "Fear of Poverty" has you frozen. Fortunately, it is only a state of mind and you can change it at will.
The Six Ghosts of Fear are:
1. The fear of poverty
2. The fear of criticism
3. The fear of ill-health
4. The fear of loss of love of someone
5. The fear of old age
6. The fear of death.
Change your mind.
The Quote of the Day: "We must overcome the notion that we must become regular, it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre." - Uta Hagen
Don't be a people pleaser. It is up to you and your mind to be whom you want to be. Why should you worry about what other people expect you to do? Why should you act the way you think they want you to act? When you are with a client, be you.
If you don't, you will exhaust yourself quickly trying to remember what image you need for what person you are encountering. Wouldn't it just be easier to be you?
The mash-up: Don't be a "People Pleaser"! You know you want to be who you want to be. Make that choice and focus on being you. Be you to your family. Be you to your clients. Be you to you!
