Life is quite strange sometimes ...

I've lost many young family members that I miss dearly. I come from a very large family so death is something I've experienced in my family many times. I lost my first grand parent 42 years ago and my last grand just 9 years ago. Miss them all.

Thanks for stopping by Tamny and we are both a couple of people that keep plugging along ...
Morning VB.
I agree, while I have outlived a lot of people I know. With what I've been though I also wonder why I'm still above ground

Hello James and welcome to our group of survivors ...
Hi Robert... first of all, your photos in this post are simply stunning. As for the message... wow... I have outlived a few of my friends and family. Miss them all. And as I get older, it seems I lose a few more each year.

Hello Nina, thanks for stopping by and I lost one of my best friends to lung cancer last year ;o(
And what I find the most puzzling is when friends 20-30 years old pass away strangely?
And I knoe there are more coming along in the near future!
I've had similar thoughts about those who passed before me. Both my parents and all my grandparents were gone by the time I turned 32.

Hello Myrl and wow that is really something to lose your parents & grandparents by the age of 32 ;o(
There's really no explaining it, is there, but just be thankful you're still here to enjoy those beautiful sunsets and scenes like you picture here. Have a great weekend!

Hello Carla and I do think your right ...
As someone who suddenly and completely unexpectedly lost a beloved spouse not at all long ago, I can tell you I get it. So many 'whys' . . . and the only answer that makes a damn tiny bit of sense is this:
We are connected with people on this journey through life for a finite amount of time. Some of those connections are damn tight, and we walk through life together swearing we occupy the same soul--often for a long while. Nevertheless, our karmic contracts are not written, nor do they mature at the same time.
Those who came and went before you had different arrangements, and now have different projects to work on--which includes keeping an eye on you! <3
