I'm taking a vacation.
I'm taking a real vacation.
I mean, NO phone, NO ipad, No laptop, NO computer.
I'm not using WI-FI.
It's a big step. I keep giving myself affirmations. It's amazing how addictive we become as realtors to being ON ALL THE TIME.
I can't help it, from about 7-7 every day, sometimes later, I'm available for my clients. I know I like MY questions answered so I like to provide the same service in return. I grab my hours off where I can.
But, this is different. A REAL VACATION.
I've never done it, and my husband and I haven't spent private time together, uninterrupted, for over 5 years. So, it's necessary for balance and happiness as well.
So, to keep business up and running, I have a business partner covering my live transactions, and another agent covering incoming leads and questions. I trust them implicitly and it's all good. But...I also needed to give a heads up to my clients, prospects and leads I've been in touch with, so I sent out some emails last night.
Here's a response I wanted to share with all of you.
"Don't let anyone disturb your trek back in time to a world where one could actually contemplate and meditate to their heart's content without any expectation of being zapped out of their tranquility by the buzzing and beeping of man made beasts. "
Man made beasts! I love it!
Now if I could just get rid of this rash on my arms, my neck and my hands before I go....
Deep breaths...vacation in sight!!!!
